What is this service?
The choir is unique as it's focus is to support stroke survivors following their stroke. Members of the choir have said how important it has been for their recovery and self-esteem and if it wasn't available, they would not be able to join a mainstream choir due to the symptoms of stroke which can impact on an individual’s sense of wellbeing and confidence due to loss of speech function (aphasia); loss of motor control and loss of income.
